Style inspiration for summer 2015

As you can probably tell from my last couple of posts, I'm really looking forward to summer. In the UK it can take a while for the weather to get to the point where we can go outside without a jacket, but its getting there.
Around this time I can do nothing but think of the beach, a holiday and a new summer wardrobe. I love S/S fashion because after the long months of just throwing on a scarf and a coat its finally time to channel your inner festival chic vis-a-vis Vanessa Hudgens/Alexa Chung.
I'm fairly certain Alexa Chung's everlasting 'it' girl status is here to stay and every summer I find myself stalking the internet to see what she's wearing, especially at Fashion Week and Glastonbury, and I think I've narrowed down a few wardrobe essentials.

Esprit is a brand that screams festival chic, from distressed denim to every accessory you could want. A simple, effortless outfit every girl needs is a pair of denim cutoffs with a pretty blouse top and there is so many combinations of this outfit it will last through the hotter months, as you can add sandals or boots, hats and jewellery or go simple with no accessories at all.
Adding some aviators and a fedora can pull any casual outfit together with little to no effort which is great for summer because its all about the comfort! And speaking of comfort, a maxi skirt or dress is an item that everyone call pull off, and they're pretty much all in live in through june to august!

I hope you enjoyed this post, and let me know who your style inspirations are for summer 2015!

summer holiday essentials

Hat - Topshop
Sunglasses - ASOS
Bag - MissGuided
Bikini - Topshop
Playsuit - ASOS
Its that time of year when we can start fantasizing about trips away to beautiful, hot destinations whether it be a week by the beach or a city break. Whatever you're doing this summer, you'll probably need to go shopping. I always seem to find an excuse...
So I've complied my wishlist of essentials that I really want to get my hands on before I go away! The first thing I really want is a great hat as although I love the sun, a bit of shade is always nice and I love this completely oversized one from Topshop. Also a must have is of course sunglasses and these ones from ASOS are so cute and this style goes with so many different face shapes, and a dusky pink also goes with everything in a summer wardrobe.
Another staple is a bag that you can just throw everything in and take to the pool/beach but also to a restaurant in the evening, and for me that's a backpack. This one from MissGuided is a beautiful colour and the perfect size. Also on holiday I don't like to pack loads of shoes, so these sandals from Brantano are great because they will go with everything whether its a casual outfit by the pool or dressed up for an evening out. And of course you have to have an amazing bikini, and this one from Topshop is so cute!
An outfit essential for me in the summer is a simple playsuit as they're comfortable, cute and more practical than a dress. This one from ASOS I love because i can imagine it'll look amazing with a tan! I'm also on the hunt for a great pair of sandals, and I literally can't decide from all of these.
I really hope you guys enjoyed reading this post, let me know where you're going this summer!

Dress - ASOS
Bag - Charity Shop
Rings - Shop in Camden
Sunglasses - Topshop
Just me wishing I was at a festival this weekend. The weather in the UK has been really lovely recently so its finally time to kind of start dressing for summer! Instead of partying at Coachella me and my boyfriend walked over to a nearby village, enjoyed the sunshine and drank smoothies.
Today I wore this dress from ASOS which I love, and also this bag was the best bargain ever....£1!! I always seem to wear more jewellery when its sunny as well so on went my favourite rings which I picked up from a little shop in Camden Town.
Can you believe as I'm writing this post the sun has disappeared and now the sky is a horrible grey colour. Typical...

The best and healthiest pancake recipe ever?

Wednesday, 1 April 2015

Damnnnnn they look gooooood.
So if you're a pancake addict like me then I've got a great recipe for you to try as it a lot healthier than the standard flour recipe and is even more delicious! Can you believe it only has two ingredients??

So all you need for these pancakes are two bananas and two eggs, mash the bananas with the back of a fork and then whip in the eggs and you have your batter! Fry them in a frying pan like you would regular pancakes and then top with any toppings you want, I would recommend icing/powdered sugar as they did that in Amsterdam and its sooooo good!
I hope you enjoyed reading this quick little post and let me know if you try out this amazing recipe!
